Pioneer student Chromebooks will be collected this Thursday, May 21st. Please bring your power adapter with you. Those students who have already submitted their Chromebooks for repair also need to bring in their power adapter and sleeve, if they haven't turned them in. Missing or broken adapters will be assessed a fine of $32.00. Thank you.
If you missed the deadline to pre-order your yearbook, it's not too late. You can still order a yearbook online at www.yearbookforever.com through May 23. Less than 40 yearbooks are still available so don't miss your chance to own one! Order today!
Thank you for all of your kind donations, as these supplies are always needed throughout the school year. We really appreciate it and as you see sales, please think of buying a couple extras and sending to the Pioneer Office. The things we use most are Kleenex, disinfecting wipes, hand sanitizer, line paper and small bathroom size 3 oz. paper cups.
Pioneer has an active chapter of National Junior Honor Society. Through meetings, individual and group service opportunities members increase their leadership capabilities and learn the value of community service. Students who meet all the requirements throughout the school year will receive recognition at graduation. Eighth graders have the opportunity to take on additional leadership challenges by leading committees.
Is your Discovery or Liberty student interested in joining a robotics team in the fall of 2015? We are holding a parent meeting to discuss the current program, possibilities for next school year and answer any questions.
The parent meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 19 at 6 p.m. in the Discovery Middle School auditeria. While this meeting is not mandatory, we strongly encourage you to attend to learn about the program, ask questions and offer your input.
Students are encouraged to attend with their parent(s).
